Anthony Marino

Jun 25, 1953 — Aug 15, 2026

Laconia, NH

Anthony W. Marino (73) formally of North Providence, RI passed away suddenly on August 15, 2026. He was the son of the late Salvatore Marino and Edna Saran Marino and the brother of Joseph Marino and the late Steven Marino. He is survived by his partner of forty-three years Brenda Zompa Marino of North Providence, RI, his beloved children Anthony Marino, Stephanie Marino and Jeffrey Marino as well as his precious granddaughters Alexia, Gianna, Sophia and Isabella.

Tony was a retiree who spent most of his career in the accounting profession. His retirement years were spent enjoying time with his children and grandchildren. He loved a good yard sale or flea market, rock hunting adventure, treasure seeking walks on the beach and long afternoon naps. He never met a stranger to whom he wouldn’t tell his life story and enjoyed talking with everyone. Community and togetherness were things he greatly valued, always keeping in touch with the oldest friends and most distant relatives. Tony was the most selfless person with the biggest heart, always willing to go out of his way to lend a helping hand to others no matter the inconvenience.

Above all else Tony was a devoted Christian and faithfully served the Lord throughout his adult life. His greatest life’s passion was to tell others of the saving grace of Jesus Christ. So, his family would like to leave you with a passage from Romans 10:9-10 “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord’, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved”.

Please join us in remembering Tony at a Celebration of Life service which will be held on September 12, 2026 at Church of the Cross in Smithfield, RI at 11:00 am.
