David Hasty

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of David A. Hasty, age 89, of Windham, New Hampshire who passed away peacefully on July 25, 2026. Born in Norway, ME in April 1937, he was the son of Alice and Arnold Hasty. 

David turned his time and talents for all things mechanical and his fondness for computers, into an engineering career at Modicon working as an electrical engineer until his retirement in 1988. Most importantly though, David will be remembered for his tremendous love of family and friends and his zest for life. He loved riding his motorcycle, taking camping trips to Maine, fishing with his grandchildren, and golfing with his buddies, especially at our family’s annual “Ampy Golf Tournament” we held at Kimball Farm. David proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Lake Champlain. He met the love of his life, Beverly, in 1960 and they celebrated 65 wonderful years together this past June. 

David is a cherished husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is survived by his wife Beverly, daughters Gayle Moran and her husband Michael, Patricia Corby and her husband Steven, grandchildren Jaclyn Diaz and her husband Alejandro, Kerri Middlemiss, Alex Miller and her husband Ryan, Bryan Moran and his wife Kayleigh, Katherine Corby and Jennifer Corby, great-grandchildren Cameron & Theo Diaz, and niece Robin Flanagan. He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Robert Hasty and his wife Beverly. 

A private memorial will be held by his close family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692.
