Marie Landry

Marie Theresa Landry, 96 of Venice, FL & Raymond, NH.

Born May 30, 1929, in Waltham, MA, Marie was the 11th & last child born to Frank & Julia (Morley) Cotton. After graduating from Waltham High, she married Jack (Stanley) Landry in 1947 & they had 3 children, Jeanne Marie, Kevin Roy, & Glenn Clifford. The family moved to Salem, NH in 1958 & Derry in 1961. Both long-time Raytheon employees, Marie and Jack retired to Venice, FL in 1988. 

Marie was predeceased by her son Glenn in 1981 & her husband, Jack in 2006 and brothers Fran, Tom, & Arthur Cotton, & sisters, Catherine Cotton, Gertrude Chicco, Agnes Surette, Emily Delaney, Mildred Aucoin, Ruth Coffey, & Helen Corrigan. 

After Jack’s death she went to work as a Walmart Greeter, retiring at the age of 90. She continued riding her 3 wheel bike around her North Port neighborhood until she fractured her pelvis at 92. At that time she moved in with her daughter & son. 

She loved her trips to Foxwoods with her granddaughters, grandson-in-law, great-granddaughters & great-grandson & had a favorite slot machine. 

Marie is survived by her children Jeanne & Kevin Landry, both of Venice, FL & Raymond, NH, 5 grandchildren, Lori Milton, Lisa Canavan & her husband John, Michelle Landry & her fiancé Marc Hoisington, Glenn Landry Jr & Kevin Landry Jr & his wife Stephanie, 8 great-grandchildren, Jessica Ferrarini, Nicholas Milton & his wife Ashley, Felicia Johnsen & her husband Bobby, Sean Canavan & Natalie Clark, Lily & Mason Landry, & Mikayla & Kenzie Landry, and 7 great-great grandchildren, Noah Christian, Aislynn & Abigail Ferrarini, Victoria & Lucas Milton, Finn & Seamus Johnsen, brother-in-law, Bruce Landry, and over 40 nieces & nephews.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
