Nicolas F. Jacques

Nicolas Frantz Jacques, 82, of Salem, NH died peacefully at his home last Thursday. He had additional education in Jamaica where he met his wife of 60 years. He was an accountant in Haiti and traveled to live in America in 1986.

Nicolas, worked at the local market in Salem until retirement. Nicolas enjoyed sports, politics, listening to music and spending time with his family.

He was predeceased by his daughter Marie Jacques, Mother Yvonne (Nee) Covil, Father Antoine. Brothers, Maximillian (Maxoo), Jean, Carlos (Lo-lo). Sister, Ghislaine (Len-len) and Cousin, Didine Rocourt, Grandson Supreme Jacques.

He survived by his wife Judith Jacques, children Patrick Jacques, Marjorie Jacques, Frantz Jacques, and Kareen Dowe.

Sister: Claudette Scott of Canada.

Cousin: Robert (Bobby) Rocourt, Fifi Rocourt, and Denise Rocourt.

Grandchildren: Total of 26 grandchildren counting Nicholas Jacques, Felicia Taylor, Victoria Jacques, Max Jacques and 8 great children.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 30th 4pm at St. David’s Episcopal Church, Main St, Salem NH.
