Stacey Lynn (Chute) Robert passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Tufts Medical Center in Boston after a short illness. She was 56.
She was the daughter of John and Carolyn (Crowell) Chute, and was born in Methuen, MA on March 8 of 1969.
She had been on medical leave from her job as the Education and Experience Manager at Farmer Dave’s in Dracut, MA, where she worked for nine years.
She was brought up in Salem, NH, and attended the Salem Public Schools, graduating from Salem High School in 1987. She then attended the University of Rhode Island, graduating in 1991 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Pharmacy. She worked as a Registered Pharmacist for over two decades, before leaving the industry in 2017 to start her career at Farmer Dave’s.
In February of 2003, she answered an online personal ad that led to her meeting Bill Robert. Their relationship developed quickly, leading to a marriage proposal in August of 2003, and a wedding that took place in January of 2004. They remained married from that day until the day of her tragic passing.
In addition to her pharmacy and farm work, Stacey had other interests that captured her heart. She had a lifelong love of gardening. She was an avid beader, creating beautiful pieces of jewelry which she made for herself, shared with people, and sold (along with her amazing hand-designed charcuterie boards) through Stacey Robert Designs. She also practiced yoga, and attained her 500-hour teacher training certificate. She also acted as a crew member on many of her husband’s projects for Community Television and the web, helping out on such shows as “Stateside Footy”, a television program featuring American teams playing Australian Rules Football.
Stacey is survived by her husband, William Robert, of Salem, NH. She is also survived by her parents John and Carolyn Chute of Salem, NH, and her brother Frank Chute, his wife Tracy, and their children Harley, Connor, and Kyle, also of Salem, NH, and by many cousins.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Salem Animal Rescue League in Salem, NH, or to the Boston Area Gleaners.
