William Van Bohn, 61, was born in Quincy, MA on January 30, 1964, and passed away unexpectedly in October 2025, in Everett, MA. Strong-willed, intelligent, funny, and loving, William was a cherished member of his family and was known for his no nonsense attitude and creative spirit.
William is survived by his beloved mother, Eva Bohn, aged 82; his devoted partner of 38 years, Yukiko Grief, aged 79; his brother, Robert Bohn Jr, aged 60; his daughter, Sarah Mosel, aged 37, son in law, Derek Mosel, aged 40; and his granddaughter, Hannah Mosel, aged 14. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Bohn Sr.
Throughout his life, William found great joy in restoring and selling valuable antique toys, furniture, and other unique collectibles. His passion for discovering hidden treasures and sharing them with others led him to create a thriving business that spanned from the early 1990s to the mid-2010s. His love of buying and selling was matched only by his entrepreneurial spirit, as he built a reputable name in the world of antiques and collectibles.
In addition to his business acumen, William possessed notable skills in computer and graphic design, which he put to use building websites for business owners during the latter part of his career. Always eager to learn and adapt, he found ways to reinvent himself and support others with his technical expertise and creativity.
William will be missed dearly by his family and friends, who will remember him for his strength, wit, and unwavering love.
